EJL: St. Padre Pio draw with Entebbe City to earn second place

St.Padre Pio Soccer Academy put up a fight to clinch a 3 all draw against Entebbe City Soccer in Gateway Entebbe Junior League on Saturday.

St. padre Pio had come from behind twice to share points in Kabulamuliro. Mark Ssekitto, Massa Humed and Rashid Mbaziira were all on target for St. Padre Pio.

Sudais Ssemakalu grabbed a brace for the visitors after putting up a man of the match display and Mooka Joram scored the 3rd.

St. Padre Pio now lie second on the log formerly occupied by Waggagai Warriors who find selves in fourth after matchday 4, with Entebbe City are now 7th in the league.

Elsewhere, Streamline Soccer Academy were able to maintain their impressive form against PRO Soccer Academy and Taggy High Soccer Academy, scoring 9 goals in the two matches.

Taggy High were able to beat PRO Soccer Academy 4-0. Young Santos were unable to pick up a point from Matchday 4.

Just like Young Santos, Mutungo Soccer Academy were unlucky losing one and drawing the other bout of the day. While VT Soccer Academy were able to gain momentum winning both of their fixtures of the day against Sports Academy Bulega and Mutungo Soccer Academy.

Away at Cherish Playground, Bulega Soccer Academy were held to a one all draw by Panthers. Panthers were able to redeem themselves against Waggagai warriors in a 6 goal thriller. Waggagai Warriors would go on to lose their second game 4 to nil against Bulega Soccer Academy.
