Three people are feared dead after a car accident that involved 3 vehicles between Lyantonde and Mbarara, a toyota Harrier SUV reg.number UBF 589W, a pick up double cabin reg. number UAJ 786X and a motorcycle collided according to reports streaming from the area police.
The crash occured at about 1:20 pm on the busy highway, it has been described by bystanders that the SUV that was enroute to Mbarara rammed into a motorcyclist and finally plunged into the Pickup.
It has been reported, that 3 yet to be identified persons 2 men and a woman died on spot, the pick up driver sustained a few injuries.
