‘We shall do all it takes to take all points against Gaddafi’ – Gitta

Wakiso Giants FC head coach Alex Gitta claims that their main target is to register maximum points when they face off with Gaddafi FC.

The Purple Sharks begin the second round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League with a lunch time kick-off against Gaddafi FC on Saturday.

Alex Gitta expects a tough encounter but believes playing at home gives his side enough confidence.

“We lost the reverse fixture in the last minutes against them and we don’t expect it easy,” Gitta said.

“But one of our objectives is to win all home games starting with the one against Gaddafi and we shall do all it takes to take all points,” he added.

The fixture is the first of many to be played at this time and Wakiso will be eager to return to winning ways.

In their last league game, ironically against the same opponent, we were heart broken by a late goal at the Gaddafi Arena.

The Sharks know how much importance is attached to this game in terms of alert throughout the game.

This will be our second meeting against Gaddafi FC.

Wakiso Giants has won five of the home games so far with five wins and two losses while Gaddafi have won just once away from home this season with one win, two losses and four draws.
