Wakiso Giants head coach Alex Gitta will hoping for nothing other than three points in their Saturday’s StarTimes Uganda Premier League encounter.
The Purple Sharks return to Bugembe stadium for a big clash against BUL FC on Saturday desperate to pick another victory.
Bugembe is the venue the Purple Sharks journey started and it’s a place with a lot of memories.
According to Gitta, this is a second home for Wakiso Giants and they have to do whatever they can to win.
“Bugembe is our other home and we have a lot history there. It’s a place where our journey started and we cherish the memories,” Gitta said before adding.
“The players are excited to play there again and we target all points to give our area fans the joy,” he added.
Wakiso come into the game on the back of a 4-1 win over Gaddafi while BUL lost 3-1 to Vipers which makes the encounter enticing for both sides separated by a point and log position.
BUL are seventh with 26 points while Wakiso Giants are sixth with a point more.
This will be the sixth meeting between Wakiso Giants and BUL FC. Wakiso have won three times previously, BUL FC won once and they drew once.
Wakiso Giants has never lost a game at Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe in all competitions.
Last season’s corresponding fixture at the venue ended in a 1-0 win for the Purple Sharks.
