James Odoch has called for teamwork at the club going forward after replacing sacked boss Wasswa Bbosa.
Odoch was appointed the interim manager at the club until the end of the season after Bbosa was unceremoniously shown an exit door.
Odoch says teamwork on and off the pitch will be key in making the team succeed for the remaining part of the season.
“First of all I want to take this opportunity to thank coach Wasswa Bbosa for what he achieved at the club, He made history and that will forever be engrained in the club’s history,” Odoch said before adding.
“However, personally I want to do my best to help the team do better and I believe we have the right players and personnel to do it, we only need to work as a team on and off the pitch to achieve results and we for sure will,” he added.
Bbosa was officially relieved of his duties at the Wankuluku based side on February 14th after reports that he fell out with the club’s CEO Isaac Mwesigwa.
Odoch’s first assignment will be to ensure the Red Eagles pick up maximum points away to Busoga United on Friday in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
