Vipers SC assistant captain and holding midfielder Siraje Sentamu noted that his side can not afford to lose on two consecutive occasions.
The Venoms host Busoga United at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende on matchday 21 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Having lost narrowly to Tooro United in their previous games Oliviera Robertinho’s charge will be seeking to return to winning ways.
“We can not allow to lose two games in a row,” Sentamu told Vipers SC Media Team in the prematch conference.
“I know we are from losing a game against Tooro (United) but we lost the battle but not the war,” he added.
“We are looking up to the game ahead and Everyone is ready to make it count. Every game we play is like a final so we have to win.”
According to the hardworking midfielder, football is not direct because at times its a loss, draw or win and they wil go in this one searching for victory.
Vipers are topping the log, one point ahead of KCCA who have played a game more in the league.
The Kitende based side will have to take the chance of extending the lead after their closest challenger in KCCA drew twice failing to go past them on the log.
Eleventh placed Busoga United FC have 21 points from 20 games are 22 points behind Vipers.
Busoga shared spoils with Police FC in their previous game played at Kakindu Stadium. So they will seek to bounce to winning ways as well.
