Express FC registered a 2-1 victory against Police FC in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Tuesday.

Four minutes into the game, Police’s custodian collided with George Ssenkaaba causing an injury that forced him off before he was replaced by Tom Ikara.
Eight minutes later, Tonny Mawejje placed Police in the driving seat after a beautiful strike into the roof of the net after he was set up by Juma Balinya.
At the stroke of the first half, Senkaaba levelled matters through a powerful strike off Sadiq Ssekyembe’s corner kick.
After recess, Charles Musiige moved on the pitch to replace Daniel Shabene in Express’s maiden change.
Eleven minutes into the second stanza, Ivan Mayanja’s effort hit the post before it hit George Kiryowa’s shoulder and bounced into the net to give Express the lead.
Erick Kambale remained with a keeper to beat but he squandered the chance after being run down by George Kiryowa.
As Police looked for a reply, Marvin Oshaba and Frank Kalanda replaced Muwada Mawejje and Tony Mawejje.
