Yesterday evening news about the death of the legendary radio star and veteran Alex Ndawula dominated the internet.
Alex Ndawula, the presenter that graced the airwaves of radio stations starting with Sanyu FM before moving to Capital FM is said to have died this Monday evening at Nsambya hospital in Kampala.
Immediately after the news about his death dominated social media, different personalities have come out to mourn with the family and friends of the fallen veteran.
One of the notable personalities that came out to mourn for the late radio star is the Deputy speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon Thomas Tayebwa.
He said that during the days of his childhood he used to almost sleep in their banana plantation every Saturday night because it was the only spot where he could get Capital FM to listen to Dance force in Bitereko. He ended up thanking the late for bringing Kampala close to them.

Allan Kasujja the lead presenter of BBC News Day, went ahead and made a tweet describing Ndawula as probably the greatest, certainly the realest, an icon, a legend, a trailblazer, ONE of ON.

Different people have gone ahead to thank the deceased for adding entertainment ‘spice’ to their lives in his prime.
