After a perfect start ,the Algerian Desert Foxes were looking to maintain their stability in Group F, on the other hand after snatching a point on Saturday against Niger, Tanzania was on the move to get more points and hype their qualification hopes.
Algeria proved to be the more motivated and intentional team on the day as they maintained their 100 percent start to their TotalEnergies African Nations Cup qualifying campaign as they stunned Tanzania 2-0 away on Wednesday to top Group F with maximum six points.
Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Ramy Bensebaini fired Algeria in front just before the break and Mohamed Amoura netted the winner in stoppage time.
This leaves the Algerians in a safe place as far as qualification is concerned and they will be looking forward to get more points from Niger as they face off in the next round.
The winners and runners-up of the 12 groups will reach next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
