Former Kazo Member of Parliament, Gordon Bafaki died in a road accident on the Northern Bypass in Kampala in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Bafaki was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser TX registration number UBD 965E which crashed with a trailer registration number KBZ539Z/ZC8776.
By press time, Bafaki’s body had been taken to Mulago City Mortuary for a postmortem and the driver of the trailer, Kahagi John Kinuthia, was being held at Kiwatule Police Station.
Bafaki got involved in the nasty accident as he returned from Kiruhura district, where he had been attending the homecoming celebrations for the Commander of Land Forces and First Son, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
He was one of the members of organising committee for the said homecoming.
Gordon Bafaki represented Kazo until he lost this seat to Dan Kimosho during the January elections.
