Kajjansi United captain nears switch from Busiro to Buddu

Kajjansi United captain, Badru Kabanda is in the final stages to agree on a deal with the 2021 Buganda Masaza Champions, Buddu.

The midfielder has been at Busiro for the last two seasons but Gateway news has reliably learnt that the marriage between the two parties may not last any longer.

Reports indicate that Ssaza Busiro tried to extend Kabanda’s contract to be part of the team this season but the discussions hit a dead end.

A source close to the player informed this website that Kabanda is ready for a new challenge in the prestigious tournament and Buddu seems to be his destiny.

Kabanda was so instrumental in Kanjansi United’s journey in the Buganda Regional League before they missed out on a chance to be promoted to FUFA Big League.

This only gives a chance to the forward to at least conclude a great season with a title in the ongoing tournament.

Masaza tournament kicked off on June 25 as Buddu hosted Mawogola at Masaka Recreational Ground in a game that ended in a goalless draw.

The tournament will continue on July 2 as Buvuma host Buluuli at Kasaali P.G, Kooki faceoff Kabula at St. Berands S.S, Butambala face Mawokota’s test at Kibuli S.S while Ssese visit Bugerere at Ntenjeru P.G.
