The territorial police in Kabale are investigating the sudden death of an unidentified male adult under CRB 463/2022.
It is alleged that the officer in charge of Kitumba Police Station received information on phone on Friday July 1, 2022 at around midday about a dead body lying alongside the road in Kazigyezigye village, along Katuna-Kabale road.
The incharge notified notified Kabale Central Police Station which visited and documented the scene.
According to Kigezi region police spokesperson, Elly Mate the body was however searched and no document was recovered for identification.
The body has been conveyed to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital mortuary, awaiting postmortem as inquiries are at hand.
Mate has also asked anyone missing his or her dear one to visit the mortuary so that the body is identified and taken for burial.
