The traffic police at Kajjansi are investigating circumstances under which two vehicles were involved in a minor accident at Sekiwunga along Kampala Entebbe Expressway on Saturday 2nd July 2022.
The incident happened at Sekiwunga Fly over at around 9 am.
According to the Road Safety spokesperson, Faridah Nampiima, two motor vehicles a Toyota Succeed registration number UBK 469J driven by a one Esau Besigye a resident of Garuga Katabi town council in Wakiso district and a Land Rover Discovery registration number UBH 366X driven by Brian Mukasa of Mpala Wakiso district were coming from Entebbe heading to Kajjansi Busega expressway when the latter tried to overtake the former.
The two side brushed with each other causing them to lose control and overturned.
Nampiima has attributed the accident to Mukasa’s reckless driving and confirmed that they’re reviewing the CCTV footage for aid in further investigation.
