Kakembo, Premiership Experience discuss possible East African expansion

Uganda Youth Soccer Academy (UYSA) boss Ivan Kakembo held talks with elite sports tour operator- Premiership Experience founder Kieran Coyle, Gateway News has learnt.

Premiership Experience is a sports tour and events operator established in 2010.The agency with arms in the United Kingdom, China, Dubai, Australia offers a wide range of global sports and educational experiences.

The agency prides itself in a record high clientele of over 150,000 handled since their inception, they organise Football tours, Performing Arts and Educational Tours.

The operator furnishes team’s, organisations and individuals with a once in a lifetime experience through extending a buffet of services tailored fit needs of their clients at cost effective rates.

According to Kakembo who is currently in the UK furthering his studies, told this publication that they discussed several topics including a possibility of the agency expanding to East Africa.

“East Africa is quite an unexplored business territory in the sports industry, having a multinational agency like Premiership Experience enter the market presents both economic development opportunities and as well as sports Tourism.

The Ugandan football executive also hinted on a possible partnership between UYSA and Premiership Experience.

” We are exploring the possibility of fostering a program for our youngsters back home to get a chance to train and try out with clubs beyond borders, 

“If a chance presents itself for our players to enroll for programs, I believe it will be good for learning and exposure. We shall surely communicate any further developments.” Kakembo noted 

Premiership Experience will host Uganda’s Joe Kigozi Academy for a United Kingdom tour, where promising young footballing talents and their parents will visit stadia, meet England Premier League Stars and as well get to train with prominent Football outfits.
