CAF Schools Championship: Royal Giants, Champions Of Inaugural Tourney

Royal Giants High School, Mityana are the champions of the CAF African Schools Championship after registering a 2-0 victory against Dynamic SS at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Tuesday evening.

The hero of the day was midfielder, Thomas Ogema whose brace was enough to ensure Royal Giants clinched a well-deserved victory against stubborn Dynamic SS.

This came after Royal Giants had edged Standard High School, Zanna (STAHIZA) thanks to Ogema’s only goal at noon.

On the other side, Dynamic SS had to beat Mukono Kings 2-1 in the first semifinal game, later on Mukono Kings beat STAHIZA 1-0 thanks to Shafick Kasujja to finish third.

Royal Giants managed six victories in six games played all through the tournament. They bagged 17goals and conceded three goals.
