Police has arrested an 18-year-old woman identified as Kafta Queen and another unidentified woman in connection to the viral video series.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Like Owoyesigire confirmed the arrest of the two suspects and said “efforts are still on to have the others arrested.”
Social media platforms were awash of several videos on Monday showing a group of girls assaulting and stripping naked another girl identified as Nicole who was being battered with sticks.
The incident escalated after Kafta found Nicole at her boyfriend’s house.
According to sources privy to the investigation, Nicole said in her statement that she was invited for a birthday party by her friend Kafta.
