Morley Byekwaso Resigns from KCCA FC

After the ejection from the Uganda Cup, Morley Byekwaso has decided to resign from the role of head coach at KCCA FC.

Byekwaso revealed the decision during a post match interview after the final whistle.

“I have taken a decision as a coach today to resign,” he revealed to media.

“I have resigned because am seeing player power into my team. I am not going to go on facing such situations,” he added.

“During training, we always give our best. We give each player a role and if we hardly follow the plan then it brings disorganization.”

“This is what we have faced. There many good things that the club needs and I can’t go on with this. This is the right time for me to leave so that some one else takes over,” he concluded.

KCCA FC lost 1-0 to Bright Stars as their Uganda Cup journey came to an end at Kavumba Recreation grounds on Sunday.

The loss came after the Lugogo based side had been held in three successive stalemates.

In the league, KCCA are second on the log with 39 points. They are four points behind log leaders SC Villa who have played two games more.

Next on menu, KCCA will be playing against URA FC in the league on Wednesday April 19.
