Coach Salim Jamal Muwonge the head coach of the Uganda Beach soccer national team has named a 20 man provisional Squad ahead of the qualification fixture against Comoros.
According to FUFA ,the team will enter the camp later today at FUFA technical center in Njeru in preparation for their two qualification games against Comoros later this month and Early next month.
The cranes beach boys will first make a visit to the Comoros island between 22nd -24th July before hosting them between 5th-7th in August.
Having featured in the 2021 edition in Senegal,the Head coach Salim Jamal Muwonge while addressing the media today said that the target of the team is to make a return to the Beach soccer African cup of nations and he believes that the players summoned will get the work done.
” Our target is to get back to the final tournament and Iam confident the players summoned will help in executing the assignment before us . we have enough time to prepare for the two games and hoping for the very best.” he said.
The 2022 beach soccer AFCON will take place in Maputo Mozambique between 21st -30th 0ctober .
