Several SC Villa players and a coach have suffered injuries after the team bus got involved in an accident in Migeera as the club was travelling to Gulu.
Villa is slated to take on Super Eagles in the Uganda Cup round of 32 on Sunday, February 20 at the Peace Stadium in Gulu.
According to the club’s administrator who preferred anonymity said that luckily, there are no fatalities.
“It is sad that the team has been involved in an accident at Migeera on their way to Gulu but their are no fatalities, luckily.”
“A coach and some of the players have suffered injuries but have been rushed to hospital. Hopefully, they will recover soon,” he said.
It is understood that the official and players who have suffered injuries have been taken to St. Francis Clinic in Migeera.
