Simba SC head coach Pablo Franco Martin has warned his playing against mistakes when they face Orlando Pirates in the quarter final stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup.
Simba SC will host the South African side on April 17th before the return leg on April 24th.
The Spanish coach made it clear that Orlando Pirates are a big team that deserve respect.
“At this stage there is no margin for mistakes,” Franco said before adding.
“They are also worried about the draw because they are facing such a good team as Simba.”
“Both teams will try to play food football because at this stage all teams are good,” he added.
Franco who has been at the club for five months made it clear that they will have to be more accurate against Orlando Pirates especially in finishing.
“At this stage there will be few chances. This calls for us to be more reliable and competitive in both legs,” he further added.
To reach the quarter final stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup, Simba SC finished second behind Morocco’s Berkane in Group D.
Simba SC are the only team from the CECAFA region that have reached the knockout stage in any of the CAF Club competitions in the 2021/2022 season.
