With two points from five games, Vipers SC will play their last group game seeking for pride since they are already out of the tournament.

Vipers SC will take on third placed Horoya AC in Mali, Bamako today.

Vipers head Alex Isabirye has tasked his charges to give their best so that they can conclude the group on a high, to open the winning streak.

“The players are good and talented. They truly know what it takes to go back to the Champions League and it’s time we start winning games,” Isabirye said in a pre match conference ahead of the clash today.

”I have told the players my targets and we share the same desire, effort and passion. I know the weather is not good but we have to give our best and win,” he added.

“Getting a good result will give us a positive mind going back to the league where we still have a battle to fight,” he concluded.

The Venoms put up a thrilling show as they shared spoils in their previous game against Raja Casablanca, a side that humiliated them in a 5-0 loss.

It was Isabirye’s second game in charge after replacing Beto Bianchi who was sacked after the 1-0 loss to Simba in Dar es Salaam.

The Kitende based side has gone nine games without a win and will seek to put an end to the poor run.

On the other side Horoya AC have four points but will bare tough faces thanks to neighbors Simba who took them to school in a 7-0 loss at Benjamin Mpaka Stadium.
