Claus Kagimu: Ugandan Wonderkid Signs for Glasgow United 07s

Scotland-based side, Glasgow United 07s have announced the signing of Ugandan football prodigy Claus Rebh Kagimu.

The 15-year-old agile forward joins the club from Sons of Struth Football Academy where he spent a fair share of 2022.

The youngster is known for his tactical prowess and goal-scoring exploits.

The Glasgow United 07s coach, Robert Kenney has lauded the forward for his technical ability and ability to adapt to the teams style of play.

“Claus brings technical skills to the football culture here and has adapted to the fast paced nature of the football game in Scotland,

We also think that with his skills coupled with the pace of the game here can only develop into an excellent footballer.” Kenney said in a statement.

Kenney also believes that Kagimu’s signing is to promote collaborations between the club and Uganda.

Kagimu is a son to former URA FC and SC Villa CEO, Ivan Kakembo.

He started his career at Uganda Youth Soccer Academy (UYSA), before playing for Pro Touch Soccer Academy in London and Cambuslang Colts FC in Scotland.
