Bidco Uganda Limited (BUL) FC’s latest acquisition, Denis Mwemezi feels the club will help him grow and advance his football career.
The forward has joined the Jinja-based side on a two-year employment contract from reigning UPL champions Vipers SC.
“This (BUL) is the club that will help me grow and advance in my footballing career,” Mwemezi was quoted by the club’s official website.
He added: “Am super excited to join one of the best clubs in the country. My target is to play and help my team achieve more success and trophies.”
Mwemezi hit the scene in 2019 after scooping the top score’s boot in that year’s Buganda Masaza Tournament while playing for Ssese Ssaza.
Vipers SC was attracted to the young and promising talent hence acquiring his signature that was on high demand at that juncture.
The utility player has spent three campaigns at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende but has only managed to score eight goals and register 10 assists.
He as well moved to now relegated Toro United at the start of the 2021/22 season but his stay at the Fort Portal-based side was so short before he returned to Kitende.
His move to Alex Isabirye’s coached side gives him an opportunity to showcase his potential and ability that has since been caged.
He becomes the 7th signing as BUL continue to strengthen their team for the coming season as well as continental duties.
The other six are Frank Kalanda, Ronald Otti Ocitti, Emmanuel Obua, Tom Ikara, Anthony Mayanja and Benon Tahomera.
