She Corporates 1-2 Kampala Queens

Kampala Queens fought hard to beat She Corporates 2-1 in the FUFA Women Super League at MUBS, Nakawa.

Favour Nambatya placed the home side ahead before Resty Nanziri and Shamirah earned maximum points for Kampala Queens.

It was an entertaining game that kept the fans on their feet even when the clouds opened up a few minutes to the end of the first stanza.

Zainah Nandede nearly placed the visiting side ahead but Stella Musibika was quick to clear the lines.

Quick feet Margaret Kunihira also had a golden chance but failed to bury with just a goalkeeper Daphine Nyayenga left to her disposal.

Nambatya latched on a loose ball in the box. Her strong effort deflected off a defender to beat Daisy Nakaziro in the 63rd minute.

Minutes later Nanziri halved the deficit after shooting on a turn to place the ball on a far post. Nyayenga was left with little to do at that time.
