Gitta attributes Wakiso’s loss against Onduparaka to complacency

Wakiso Giants head coach Alex Gitta has attributed complacency as the major reason for his side’s home defeat to Onduparaka in the league on Friday.

Wakiso Giants lost 2-1 to the Caterpillars ending a decent run that had seen the Purple Sharks arrest the bad form.

“We are disappointed to lose such a game especially at our home,” Gitta said before adding.

“We had good spells and dominated better parts of the game but we were not as competitive as we must be.”

“I think we were complacent and that cost us. But we put this result behind our backs and focus on the next game.”

“There must be a swift reaction and we hope to returning to ways in the next game,” he added.

Wakiso Giants will take on SC Villa in their next encounter on Wednesday next week.
