Simon Peter Oketch is confident that all his targets in his football career can be achieved at BUL FC.
The exciting forward said this after signing a two-year contract to extend his marriage with the oil manufacturers.
“I can achieve everything with this club,” Oketch was quoted by the club’s official website.
“There is no reason why I should leave for another team. BUL is now a big club in the country,” he added.
Oketch had a stunning show in the 2021/22 season where many believe it’s his best campaign since hitting the big stage.
He managed to bag 13 goals across all competitions ensuring they finished fourth on a 16-team log as well as clinching the Stanbic Uganda Cup after beating Vipers SC.
“I have grown up from here and I want to continue my growth with this team so that I and the club benefit mutually.”
“BUL is set to achieve more and more success shortly and I want to be part of those stories.”
According to Oketch, extending his stay at Alex Isabirye’s coached side was a no-brainer.
He graduated from the BUL junior side in the 2019/20 season but since then it’s been a journey of growth and the fruits are starting to be seen.
In the recently concluded season, he was named the best midfielder in the Uganda Cup before he earned a place on the best eleven of the 2021/22 UPL campaign.
