Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC), the StarTimes Uganda Premier League team, has announced the signing of the Uganda Cranes midfielder Isma Mugulusi.
The 21-year-old star joined the tax collectors as a free agent on a two-year contract until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Mugulusi previously played for Busoga United and SC Villa before his professional career with Makedonikos Neapolis in the Greek second-tier division in 2022.
He was later on the move to Lithuania for FK Riteriai but injuries continued to hinder the development of his career.
In 2021, Mugulusi was part of the Uganda Hippos U20 team that reached the U20 Africa Cup of Nations under Morley Byekwaso but lost the final to Ghana in Mauritania. He was also among the team that played at the U20 AFCON in Egypt in 2023 under Jackson Mayanja and served as the captain.
This move to URA FC under Isabirye is expected to bring his career back on track.
