Journalist arrested after his Dog ate Neighbour’s Chicken

Joseph Isabirye, part of the NTV camera crew, also a member of Media Lab in Entebbe accuses Kisubi Police for having detained him for a full night on allegations of his dog eating a neigbour’s cock.

Commonly known as ‘Spata,’ Isabirye narrated of how he was called to report to Kisubi police on Monday after his neigbour a one Racheal, pressed charges.

“Upon reaching, I was not allowed to make any statement before I got dragged inside the cells until the following day,” Isabirye narrated. “There were two officers at the counter. One was wearing a police uniform but I did not successfully read his name-tag and another was a tall dark-skinned man wearing a checkered shirt,” he further described.

It is alleged that the neigbour’s cock jumped over Isabirye’s perimeter wall, into his compound before the dog got hold of it. The journalist was released the following day without any charges.

However, when asked, Patrick Mugyenyi the Officer in Charge of Kisubi police station said he was not aware of the charges nor the incident because it had not been registered anywhere in the police file.
