Song stress Juliana Kanyomozi has shared heart breaking incidences that composed the aftermath of his son’s death.

Juliana made her revelations this morning while appearing on NTV’s ‘Mwasuze Mutya’ with Faridah Nakazibwe

Juliana lost her son, Keron Raphael Kabugo on 20th July 2014 in Nairobi Kenya where he had been rushed following an asthma attack.

Keron was Juliana’s only son at the time who she loved whole heartedly. He was the only ‘stick in her match box’ following doctor’s recommendations for her not to concieve again. Keron’s demise struck Juliana deep. For her, She had hit rock bottom, she had lost the only thing she had. It was darkness at midnight.

For a long time after the death of my son, I was angry with God and myself. For years, I kept my son’s room the same way he left it. At some point I wanted to die. But when I packed up his things, I realised that my healing process had started,” said Juliana.

Juliana further revealed that her son had suffered from asthma. “One cold day while playing soccer at school, he got an asthma attack, He got another one shortly after seeing the doctor. It was then that we decided to fly him to Nairobi for further treatment but kept getting worse until he passed on,”Juliana Narrated in a somber mood.

Different tabloids handled her son’s death in aspects that seemed to depict Juliana’s neglegence and this pushed her further into depression
The world couldn’t let me heal. Many stories came up, i tried avoiding media because I couldn’t handle. Some media houses published about my barreness. This hit me hard, I wish people knew how insensitive it is to ask a woman why she isn’t giving birth,” she added.

In the wake of COVID-19, Juliana broke the news of her new born baby on her Twitter account. “IT’S A BOY!!!! Say hello to Taj 12-05-2020. We are thrilled!!. To God be the glory,’ she wrote.

According to Juliana, it is good to push yourself beyond the limits. But, while you are doing that, it is important not to lose who you are.

Getting another child cannot be a replacement for the one you lost. They are not phones. People should stop giving this as a solution to mothers who have lost children. A new child is great but the absence of the other remains,” she asserted.

The legendary singer is set to have her concert dubbed “Juliana Live at Serena” slated for Friday 19th August 2022 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
