Kabale to host maiden Photojournalism Workshop

FINCA Uganda Limited in partnership with Bricolps Uganda Limited has organized a one day workshop for Photographers, Journalists and those interested in photography business.

The workshop with a theme “uplifting photography Business beyond Limits” will take place next week on 22rd May 2023 at Assembly Point Resort along Rugarama Road in Kabale Municipality.

Speaking to our reporter, the chief organizer of the workshop who is also the Director Bricolps international Limited Mr. Aggrey Masiko, said that the workshop is intended to equip people in photography with the current ways of developing photography business.

In the current modern technology Aggrey Masiko said that people should at least be equipped with business skills, knowledge about the new trends of technology, and also on the sustainability of their business now that the photography Business is a competitive business.

“This workshop is intended to equip photojournalists and people in photography with the current ways of developing their photography business. Now with this current technology our people in the photography business should be equipped with business skills, knowledge about the new trends of technology, and also on the sustainability of their business” said Aggrey Masiko.

Kabale district brunch Manager Finca Uganda limited Mr. Kyalisiima Collins confirmed to our reporter that the workshop is their Business opportunity to meet people and see how they can work with them using the available products as well as developing their business.

Kyalisiima also said that they will also use workshops to teach participants on how they can acquire Personal development Loans which are quick and easy to access and are given to individuals to invest in their machines and also to show them how they can meet and form associations where they can serve together for the common goal.

“First of all we see the workshop as a business opportunity to meet the people and sell them our products and see how we can work with them using our products as well as developing their business. We are also set to teach them on how to form associations where they can meet and serve for the common goal,” said Kyalisiima.

Photography workshop, the first of its kind, is set to gather people in the business and those hoping to start a business from all over Kigezi Sub Region from districts of Kabale, Rukiga, Rubanda, Kanungu, Rukungiri and Kisoro.
