KCCA FC has announced the signing of Faisal Wabyoona on a five-year employment contract as the second acquisition in the ongoing transfer window.
The first addition to KCCA was Moses Waiswa who joined the Lugogo based team on a free transfer after running down his contract with South Africa outfit Super Sport United.
It’s been long since Uganda witnessed a five-year deal but the teenager’s potential gives the Kasasiro Boys a lot of hope.
“I feel very happy to sign for KCCA FC,” Wabyona was quoted by the club’s official website.
“This is a very big club and I am aware of the task at hand but I am ready for the competition,” he added.
“I have worked with the manager Morley Byekwaso at the U20 National Team and this was an easy decision for me to make.”
According to the 19-year-old midfielder, he is motivated and can not wait to get started with his teammates.
The Kibuli SS student is well known for his versatility that can allow him play as an attacking, central or defensive midfielder.
However he will need to put in a lot of work since he will face direct competition from Ashraf Mugume, Emmanuel Wasswa and newly signed Waiswa for a starting berth in the squad.
Z good for the future
