Police in Kisoro are investigating circumstances under which Kisoro Tourist Hotel manager has this morning been found dead.
Elly Maate the Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson has identified the deceased as
Musenga John Munyarwanda aged 61 and a resident of Rushambya village Kirigime ward Southern Division Kabale municipality.
Maate revealed that the deceased was reported by 29-year-old Annet Mugisha an employee at the same hotel.
According to Annet, in the morning hours of today August 3, the deceased was found dead seated on the toilet seat with his head leaning on the wall with blood oozing from his nose.
Josephine Muhoza, the deceased’s daughter said that the entire family has been gripped with shock over the untimely death of their father.
Muhoza says that today began off like any other ordinary day and her father was meant to go shopping items for the hotel. She claims they began looking for him in vain before discovering him seated on a toilet, dead.
Police was notified and rushed to the scene with a sniffer dog which couldn’t move away from the deceased’s body.
The body has been forwarded to Kisoro hospital mortuary for post mortem where it has been revealed that Musenga died of natural causes.
The case has been registered at Kisoro Central Police station under reference number CRB 495/2022
