Antanansi Bazeketa, 75, has been one of the prominent Masaka City businessmen. He was the proprietor of Maria-Flo Hotel.
According to hotel sources, the body of the deceased was found in a hotel room’s bathroom in a pool of blood on Saturday 21st May, as one of the hotel staffs raised a concern after the deceased took longer to leave his room as he normally does.
“Our boss normally wakes up early, but by 8:00am he had not contacted any of the managers. We found him dead to our shock” one of the staff said.
However we have learnt that the deceased was suffering from high blood pressure and heart-related illnesses.
Masaka city deputy RCC, Ahmed Kateregga, revealed that the deceased was among his senior advisors on City affairs.
