Masaza Cup2021: Kyaggwe Saza receive UGX 2M cash boost

Kyaggwe Saza FC has received a cash boost of UGX 2 million ahead of their group opener in the Buganda Masaza Cup, which is underway at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

The money donated by Businessman, Sulaiman Kiwanuka will help carter for expenses for Kyaggwe Saza in the Masaza tournament. Kiwanuka also pledged to award every goal scorer for Kyaggwe with a token of USD 100, which is approximately UGX 350,000.   

According to Kiwanuka, the donation is in line with the call of the Kyaggwe County head (Ssekiboobo) to help facilitate the team.

“As a dweller, I picked up interest to come on board and render a helping hand towards the cause and I will continue supporting the team with anything that I can render. We are doing all this to ensure that we win our first Masaza Cup trophy and I am strong and believe that we can achieve the mark.” Kiwanuka explained.

Meanwhile, Kyaggwe were 2-1 winners against Kalagi United in a practice match ahead of their group opener on Thursday. Kyaggwe is posted in the Bulange group together with Busiro, Bugerere, and Buvuma.
