Micho confident the cranes will deliver victory against Niger

Uganda Cranes coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic is confident about Uganda’s victory when the team faces off with Niger on Wednesday at St Mary’s stadium in kitende .

The two teams face each other after both failing to get a win in their first fixture Uganda loosing to dominant Algeria 2-0 and Niger fighting hard to pick a point from visitors Tanzania in Benin on Saturday

The cranes come into this game with no point sitting at the bottom of the table and Niger with one point .

In a press conference held Tuesday, the Cranes gaffer Micho promised change of tactics and approach.

He noted that during their game gainst Algeria which was a superior opponent they employed a defensive approach with the intention to get a good result getting a penalty which he believes that if Miya converted would have changed the tide of the game maybe.

“Against Niger, we hope to play a different ball game that will see us create opportunities and we expect to score goals.” he said

Fahad Bayo missed the first game against Algeria due to documentation but Micho believes he will be will feature in the game in kitende .

“Bayo didn’t play in Algiers because he had problems with his documents but I expect his passport cleared for him to be available tomorrow.” he stated.

Uganda cranes will be looking to redeem themselves and resurrect from the ruins they encountered in Algiers and also hyping their qualification hopes on Wednesday at 4 at St Mary’s stadium in kitende.
