Mutebi and Mayanja: AS Kigali sack duo after 3 months

Rwandese Football outfit, AS Kigali brought an end to the Ugandan coaching pairing Mike Mutebi and Jackson Mayanja’s disastrous stint at the helm of the club on Monday.

The Sacking follows a series of poor results and lack of form since the pair took charge in January. The pair leave the club in the fifth position in the league.

AS Kigali has struggled for form without a win in their last 5 games, managing 3 draws and 2 losses.

Mutebi was involved in a heated row with players after a poor showing. He referred to them as “headless chickens” in a presser and said he was not afraid of getting sacked.

Players retaliated against the gaffer’s antics questioning his system and style of play.
