New England Recall Kizza from Memphis loan spell

Major League side, New England Revolution have recalled Edward Kizza from his loan spell at Memphis 901 FC.

The 23-year-old pacy and agile forward has only featured twice for his loan Club this term in the USL Championship logging 51 minutes.

Memphis announced Friday evening the Ugandan forward was bound to make a return to his club, cutting his loan spell short.

Reports indicate the Revolution have recalled him due to his limited game time and will be looking to bolster their squad ahead of a tight campaign this month.

Kizza made a total of 11 appearances for the Revolution in 2021, aiding the outfit register a league-record 73 points and to its first-ever Supporters’ Shield title.

The 23-year-old attacker made an additional 12 appearances with five goals scored for Revolution II in USL League One to match a league record scoring in four consecutive games.
