Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) executive committee officially commenced their new mandated term on Thursday, August 5, 2021. The team is scheduled to end in the year 2025.
The opening ceremony was held after an official meeting held at the Beach Soccer Offices located at Lugujja.
Uganda Beach Soccer Association chairman Deo Mutabazi called upon the executive committee that was elected on Saturday, May 8, 2021, to kick start their duties.
“The new term has officially started and we are glad we kicked off with a convincing performance of the national team,” Mutabazi was quoted by UBSA’s official website.
“Uganda Sand Cranes finished 4th in the AFCON Beach Soccer finals in Senegal and I am sure that all the members on the executive will work passionately to see that they grow the game,” He concluded.
