Hundreds of Muslims across Entebbe Muslim County on Friday convened at the county headquarters to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, a day that marks the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
The celebrations were presided over by Entebbe District Khadi, Sheik Sulaiman Ssendijja who rallied Muslims to be champions of peace and unity.
The worshipers were joined by Entebbe Municipality Deputy Mayor Charles Kabwama, Entebbe NRM chairperson Shaka Stephen Gashaija, Divison B boss Richard Ssekyondo, among other politicians.
Children take part in a Quran recitation competition on Friday.
