The Territorial Police in Kabalagala arrested Oliver Nakaziba and four other operators of an online sex and pornographic internet site whose name they had disguised as “Online Module Center.”
According to the Uganda Police spokesperson Fred Enanga, Nakaziba rented an Apartment from which she lured young teenage girls and young female adults, and exposed their nudity online in exchange for money. She also allowed users to log into a given account with a client while in private bedroom.
The chats would go private where graphic images and pornographic acts which included nude photos, erotic pictures, and dancers were captured on video and shared.
He noted that the site had been the most active pornographic platform but it has been shutdown while they complete inquiries.
The other arrested persons include Wainawalo Ester, aged 18, Matovu Patricia, 18, Katusiime Mackline 20, and Atim Ritar aged 25.
Also recovered included sexual paraphernalia and five computer central processing unit machines that are being processed by Cyber Forensics Unit for digital evidence of either Child pornography and other pornographic materials.
Enanga further warned that sex trafficking is a crime that is highly punishable under the law.
“We wish to warn all sex traffickers and other illegal proprietors of pornography sites, including Child Pornography, against live streaming videos of child sexual abuse and exploitation of children. It is a crime, which looks profitable to them, but is punishable under the law.” he said
