A corpse of a night watchman was found Tuesday morning dumped around Kitubulu in Katabi Town Council in Entebbe Sub-District.
The deceased identified as Titia Ezaku, 40years, was a resident of the area was found lying dead on his back next to a ditch along the Entebbe-Kampala express way.
According to preliminary investigations and findings availed by the Scene of Crimes Officers, the deceased was stabbed multiple times in the upper chest area by unknown assailants.
Hassan Yusuf who is the local council 1 chairman said he received a distress call from Ezaku at around 4am on Tuesday.
“He called me at around 4am to report some unusual activity, he had seen some men carrying some items. I told him not to pursue them,
“I got the news in the morning that he had been killed and drop along the main road. He has been a guard for our area market.” Yusuf stated.
The body was conveyed to Mulago Hospital Mortuary for postmortem. The murder is currently being investigated by the Homicide department at Entebbe Central Police Station.
