Silverback’s Kaluma enters 2023 NBA draft

Silverbacks forward Arthur Kaluma has made a big decision to officially enter the 2023 NBA draft.

Kaluma has spent the last two seasons at Creighton University a side in the United States College Basketball.

The Uganda National team star believes there can not be a better time than now to face the big assignment.

“After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, I have decided to enter the 2023 NBA Draft,” Kaluma penned.

“I am excited to take this next step in my basketball journey and look forward to what the fire holds,” he added.

“I am beyond grateful for the love and support that has helped me reach this point in my basketball journey.”

“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for his blessings and guidance throughout my life.”

Kaluma was grateful for the Creighton coaches and teammates for supporting him through the journey till date.

“To my Creighton coaches and teammates and Blue Jay Nation, thank you for the unforgettable journey in Omaha,” he asserted.

“I am proud of what we have accomplished together and will cherish the memories and relationships for a lifetime,” he concluded.

If he manages to get picked into the NBA, he will be the second Ugandan in the best basketball league following Ishmail Wainright who plays for Phoenix Suns.
