BUL FC and Police FC have qualified for the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 following their 3-0 and 1-0 wins against Busoga United and Gaddafi FC respectively.
Karim Ndugwa scored twice before Walter Ochora sealed it for BUL FC as they edged Busoga United at Kakindu Stadium on Friday.
Meanwhile, Juma Balinya’s second half strike was enough for Police FC as they took care of Gaddafi FC with a 1-0 win in their Uganda Cup round of 32 tie at Lugogo on Friday.
Balinya pounced on a lose ball after George Kiryowa sent Ruben Kimera’s corner back into the six-yards box.
Elsewhere, Maroons FC were 3-0 winners against Ateker FC with Fred Amaku’s double and Abraham Tusubira’s strike sending them to the round of 16.
