The Stanbic Uganda Cup holders Vipers SC will continue with their title defense by locking horns with Wakiso Giants in the Wakiso Derby in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
The two sides will face off at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso in a on a one-legged with the winner progressing to the semi-finals of the tourney.
This was confirmed during the quarterfinal draws that were conducted on Wednesday April 6th at FUFA Complex in Mengo.
To reach quarterfinals, Vipers knocked out Kataka FC while Wakiso Giants ejected UPDF FC.
Elsewhere, Booma FC will be at home to entertain Maroons FC while Mbale Heroes FC will visit Mbarara City FC at Kakyeka Stadium.
Meanwhile, SC Villa will face 2021 finalists BUL FC at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
The 2022 quarter final games will be played between 23rd and 27th of April 2022.
