SUPL: Arua Hold Hapless KCCA At Lugogo

Arua Hill SC held KCCA in a goalless stalemate in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Monday afternoon.

The Leopards were sharing points for the fourth time consecutively. They earlier shared points with Tooro United, URA FC and Gadaffi.

KCCA’s forward Brian Majwega played a roving Herbert Achai who swang the ball into the area but Brian Aheebwa and Hassan Arua arived seconds late failing to tap home.

On the other side, Bright Vuni met Gadafi Wahab’s cornerkick but he was short of comfort to node home

After recess, Davis Kasirye and youngsterElvis Mwanje replaced Yasser Mugerwa and Ashiraf Mugume.

Mugume and Mugerwa had great chemistry on the left flank but KCCA’s forwards found it hard to meet the ball thanks to Arua’s aerial presence.

In the 70th minute, Majwega pulled off a powerful shot steps away from the box but it went above the frame by inches after going through several bodies.

Aheebwa and Anaku paved way for Charles Lwanga and Rogers Mato as the Kasasiro Boys anxiously searched for an edge.

In the next game, KCCA will host Vipers SC at Lugogo on Saturday April 30 while as Arua Hill lock horns with Busoga United at Barifa on on Tuesday.
