Ibrahim Dada scored late as URA FC registered a slim 2-1 victory against Onduparaka FC at Arena of Visions on Tuesday evening.
Steven Mukwala had given URA FC a lead in the first half but Mansoor Safi canceled out URA FC earlier in the second half.
In the 31st minute, URA FC custodian Alionzi Nafian stopped Shaban from close range. The rebound was cleared off the line by Patrick Mbowa.
Steven Mukwala put URA FC in the driving seat in the 35th minute from close range to make it 1-0.
Mansoor Safi however equalised for Ondupraka from a sweet free kick in the 48th minute of the game.
Alionzi came to URA FC ‘s rescue again with a fingertip save off the line in the 68th minute to keep URA FC in the game.
Ibrahim Dada restored URA’s lead in the 83rd minute of the game when Ivan Sserubiri swung in an inch perfect cross for him to nod the ball in the net.
The win left URA FC third on the log with 38 points while Onduparaka FC remained 13th with 18 points from 20 games played.
