Wakiso Giants head coach Alex Gitta has attributed their victory 1-0 against Tooro United in Buhinga on Sunday to belief.
Wakiso Giants bounced back from back to back defeats in the league after going four game without a win.
“After losses at home to Onduparaka and SC Villa, we had to bounce back and am happy with the response,” he stated.
“We have six games to complete the season and have already equalled our best points tally and we are hungry for more,” he added.
Frank Ssebuufu scored the winner in the first half that saw Wakiso Giants complete a double over Ibrahim Kiirya’s side.
The win lifted Wakiso Giants to 36 points which is the best tally we ever attained in the division and now Gitta wants more.
Wakiso Giants’ next game is at home against champions Express FC on Wednesday.
