SUPL: Kaddu Claims A Better Mentality Will Spur KCCA Past Police

KCCA FC assistant head coach Kaddu Badru Mukasa claims that if his charges stage a better mentality in the game against Police FC then the results will be far better.

The Cops host KCCA FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in match day 21 of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League in the Lugogo derby.

The Kasasiro Boys come into the encounter after giving away a golden change of levelling with table leaders, Vipers SC.

The Venoms had earlier lost 1-0 to Tooro and KCCA needed any kind of win to level points with the Kitende based team but instead shared spoils with arch rivals SC Villa.

According to Kaddu, the coaching side has focused on players’ mentality and attitude which he believes will yield positively.

“We have been working on the mentality and attitude of our players ahead of this game and we trust that they will give a good account of themselves,” Kaddu told the official website of KCCA.

KCCA will be playing hosts Police in a their den which reduces the pressure on them though the gaffer highlighted the need to improve on their finishing.

We play a side that knows this ground very well. They play their home games and train from here,” he added.

We have also been working on our finishing and we are hopeful that we will soon get there,” he concluded.

This will be the second game where Kaddu will guide the Kasasiro Boys since the head coach Morley Byekwaso is away due to an illness.

KCCA FC sit in the second position on the log two points behind leaders Vipers SC while Police are tenth with 22 points points after 20 games

Just like KCCA, Police FC also shared spoils with Busoga United their lasts game as none of the sides found the back of the net.

Abdallah Mubiru’s side will feel need to revenge against KCCA having lost 1-3 in the first round encounter.
