KCCA FC remains unbeaten after playing 13 games in the ongoing Star Times Uganda Premier League 2021/22 campaign.
However the table leaders’ will face a great assignment in a trip to the Arena of Visions where they are set to face URA on Saturday, January 8, 2022.
While speaking to the KCCA media team in the pre-match conference, the head coach Morley Byekwaso opened up noting that it’s never an easy contest playing against URA FC.
“The game we are going to play tomorrow is a hard one,” Byekwaso said before adding; “We face a side that has been giving us problems in the past three seasons.”
“They have got good players and coaches but we have to show top character and attitude to show that we want it (game) more than them.”
“We shall not go with pride but we shall go to play hard with an intention of winning. They have good players and coaches but need to go knowing what we want.”
“We have to go and possess, go and fight. The character has to be high if we are to pick anything,” the gaffer warned his charges.
Byekwaso added that the game means a lot to the club because it will have a big say on the league’s momentum as well as dictate their position on the log.
“The game means a lot to us. We are on top of the table and we need to go and manage the game so right. We need to know that opponents are experienced so that we pull up the required performance, he concluded.
URA have managed to win only four games, draw seven times and losing once. They have managed to collect 19 points from 12 games keeping them in the seventh position on the log.
KCCA have won nine times, shared points in four encounters and yet to lose a match. That keeps them on top of the log with 31 points from 13 games.

While Yasser Mugerwa, Loro Mazengo, Kizza Bukenya, Charles Lwanga, Peter Magambo, Emmanuel Wasswa, Geofrey Wasswa and Brian Kayanja remain absentees recovering from injuries.
