Vipers SC will be locking horns with URA in what is expected to be a mouthwatering encounter in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje on Tuesday.
The Venoms enter this game knowing that a win will take them nine points above second-placed KCCA FC who were held to a goalless draw by Arua Hill on Monday.
While a win for Sam Timbe’s charges will reduce the gap between them and the table summit to six points hence keeping the title race alive with seven games to go.

“Our match against URA FC isn’t a regular match. It’s a special match between two top clubs in the League” Vipers SC assistant coach Marcelo Cardoso said.
“Its a special match between two top clubs in the league. In the first round we lost the game against our opponent at home but this time round we have a chance to play well and prove that we can win the title.” he noted

This will be meeting the 35th time for the two sides to meet in the league with Vipers winning six times, drawing 12 times and URA FC have won 16 times.
The corresponding encounter at the Arena of Visions last season, ended in a 2-1 defeat courtesy of Shafik Kagimu and Steven Mukwala’s goals for URA FC while the Venoms consolation came through Cesar Manzoki.
Though URA FC lost 2-0 against BUL FC in their previous game in the league while Vipers were 2-0 winners against Mbarara City FC.
